ZOEY TRAINING ACADEMY
(Professional Dog training focusing on teaching constructive behavior with positive reinforcement.)
Group Classes held periodically thru-out the year. 8 week Classes, first week is free to audit course. Course fee is $100.00. Proper Grooming and Nutrition will be discussed in each course. There will be time to address your specific questions and challenges.
Puppy Training Class
- For puppies ages 8 weeks to 6 months.
- Socialization (Playtime with other puppies).
- Puppy Massage (Puppy listens to instructor as owners touch and massage them).
- Pass the Puppy (Puppy gets to socialize with other owners and new people).
- Learn one “cue” a week (Sit, Down, etc.).
- Talk about one behavior issue a week (Housetraining, Chewing, Biting, etc.).
Basic Training Class
- For dogs ages 6 months and up.
- Learn one “cue” a week (Sit, Down, Stay, etc.).
- Talk about one behavior issue a week (Barking, Jumping, Pulling, etc.).
- Practice walking with dog at side (No pulling or running).
- Work with greeting new people and other animals.
- Games that help owner and dog learn “cues” in a fun way (Musical Chairs, Puppy Push-ups, Meet and Greets, etc.).
Intermediate Training Class
- Any age dog that knows basic commands.
- Modify exercises to the owners’ specific needs for the dogs.
- Canine Good Citizen (CGC) and Therapy Dog Preparation.
- Clicker Training.
- Fun games and exercises that challenge and improve both dog and owners.
- Longer Stays and better Recalls.
We also offer the same group classes we teach at our Orange facility in Milford every spring and fall through Milford Adult Education.
